On the 6th day of #Blogmas my true love gave to me… SIX Light Displays (Sorry in advance that these are not all free)

1. Castrol Raceway Lights 

This event is already open! Cost is $25 per car.

“Castrol Raceway has created a two-kilometre stretch of lights with its Magic of Lights display at the racetrack just south of Edmonton.

The drive-through event is in support of Santa’s Anonymous and the Black Gold Health Foundation.” The tunnel of lights!

 

2. Candy Cane Lane

FREE FREE FREE! Its free! You can drive through or walk through. Sleigh rides hot chocolate and donation boxes for the food bank. Every night after December 8th until Christmas. A tradition for over 49 years!

3. My Own Home!

I put my Christmas tree right in front of our big window for the drive-byes to see it. Not only does this save money/energy on outside Christmas lights but it gives your neighbours a little bit of light into who you are and what your family likes (at least for Christmas tree decorations that is).

 

4. Leduc Country Christmas Lights

Open December 1st to January 1st and well behaved dogs can attend! Santa and FREE hot chocolate.

5. Williams Winter Wonderland (located in Gibbons)

Williams Winter Lightup is an annual event that takes place from the end of november till January 1st featuring hand painted displays, and lights.

“Join us For the Annual Williams Winter Wonderland Lightup!

Filled with handmade and painted decorations throughout the yard as well as lights and so much more!

REMINDER- The displays are all outside so be prepared and bring weather appropriate clothing!

6. Edmonton Valley Zoo – Zoominescence

“Zoominescence is a winter holiday themed fundraiser for the Edmonton Valley Zoo organized by the Valley Zoo Development Society that runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p. m. every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in December with additional openings Dec. 26 to 28.” Cost $7.50 for Adult and $5.00 per child.
