Free Events this week you Don’t want to miss!

Summer-time can be SUPER expensive. There’s carnivals, summer camp, special events, weddings the list goes on!! It is now mid-August and exhaustion can hit from all the summer activities that one may have dove into. You feel like you’re clawing up a hill still wanting to enjoy summer but your slipping fast into September. There are only a few weeks left of summer so here are some FREE events this week in and around Edmonton.

 

EMSA Mill Woods U10 – U12 Boys & Girls Summer Camp

“All Outdoor Summer Camps are free, weather dependent and are held outdoors”

 

Kids’ Day at the Farmers’ Market

“There will be a bouncy castle from 12-5, 30+ farmers’ market vendors plus other great kid-friendly vendors. Bring your books for the community book swap, kids and adult books welcome. Tables will be set up near the bouncy castle.”

 

Zumba at the Farmers’ Market

“The Zumba class will take place rain or shine in the covered courtyard area at The Marketplace at Callingwood shopping centre”

 

Outdoor Movie 2017

“Bring the family and join us for pre-movie activities including arts and crafts, games and face painting! At sundown snuggle in with your lawn chairs and blankets to watch The Secret Life of Pets.” “Town Councillors will be providing FREE popcorn.”

 

Callingwood Cars & Coffee Meetup

“Callingwood Cars and Coffee is back for Summer ’17! Bring your wheels to the Marketplace at Callingwood parking lot and meet up with fellow fans. We’ll have free coffee & snacks provided by Muggn’z Family Restaurant and Bar and Callingwood COBS Bread plus a trophy for fan favourite at each event and swag from Bulger Insurance and Sparkle Express Car Wash Edmonton.”

 

Movie Night in Central Park

“Bring a lawn chair or blanket and join us for an outdoor movie night in Central Park on Friday, Aug. 18. We’ll be watching The Lego Batman Movie! The movie will begin at 9:30 p.m. Presented by the Lions Log Cabin Youth Mentorship program, this event is open to all ages but is geared towards families and youth in Spruce Grove.”
