If you have not already checked out BoxSocial well you need to-you have to. If you want to take your kids to free events EVERY SINGLE WEEK- then you MUST check out BoxSocial. BoxSocial is run by a fantastic lady named Deanna!
She organizes and puts on free events for kids at different malls all around the city. Plus, it is a new event every week so there is always something really amazing to go do with your kids (under 5 years old).
Some of BoxSocial upcoming FREE events are:
January 20th we will have special guests from the SCA Fine Arts Musical Theatre! This year’s show is “The Little Mermaid” and is sure to be a magical performance. We are very excited to have them come to the Kids Event at Sherwood Park Mall from 9-11am to do activities with the kids!
January 27th Glow Yoga will be at Kids Play at Kingsway Mall from 9-11am. Glow Yoga was named one of the top activities for birthday parties in Edmonton by Today’s Parent Magazine! Your little ones will love this high energy, active program!
On January 28th the Odd-Lot Puppetry Co will be at St. Albert Centre’s Super Kids event. This local group will show kids how to make puppets by hand, put on an interactive show for the kids, and each child can make their own finger puppet to take home.
January 27 & 28 is also the Preschool Open House event at St. Albert Centre. Parents can see many options in one night so they can choose the best one for their family. There are still spots available for schools interested in attending. Please email info {a} boxsocialep . com to book your spot.
My absolute favourite BoxSocial event thus far has got to be the Kids Play at Kingsway Mall. I love the location, the huge space for setup AND… that when you go to Kingsway Mall Kids Play you get a stamp on your 5 stamp card to get a FREE Kingsway Mall Gift Card. I love Kingsway Mall freebies (psst they have lots of giveaways)!!
