Breastfeeding.
Who knew that the simplest (also to mention FREE) and safest way to provide for your newborn babies life would cause such dramatic chaos – worldwide! How to breastfeed, where to breastfeed, when to breastfeed, who I can breasted around, are you OK with breastfeeding, are THEY ok with me breastfeeding?!? The ridiculousness of the whole thing goes on and on and on. No one looks at you and says “Are you REALLY going to eat salad with THAT fork? Because you’re too young, too old, too messy, you look weird, I wasn’t ect. ect. ect.”

Breastfeeding Challenge – Saturday, September 30th @ 11am @ WEM
“This fun event is a challenge for which geographic area (province, state or territory) has the most breastfeeding babies, as a percentage of the birthrate, “latched on” at 11am local time.
Why?? To celebrate breastfeeding and milk-banking, and demonstrate promotion, protection and support for breastfeeding women and their families. It’s a chance for education and peer support done in a fun social way.”

2017 Chilliwack Breastfeeding Challenge
“Every year, on the 40th Saturday of the year at 11:00 am, mothers and children unite at different sites around the world to compete in the annual Quintessence Breastfeeding Challenge to set a record for the most children breastfeeding at one time. The Challenge strives to increase public awareness of the normality of breastfeeding, the benefits to mother, child and community and the ways in which women need support to achieve the recommended duration for breastfeeding.”
